With a juicer, why don’t you want to drink the fiber/pulp that is separted? I’ve been reading about the act of juicing and notice that one of the main points of it is to separate the fiber/pulp from the actual juice that is being squeezed out of the fruit or vegetable. My question is why?
A lot of health nuts are always advocating fiber in the diet. I don’t get it.

Are all parts of a fruit or vegetable edible? Is it ok to juice a whole apple with seeds and all? What about juicing a whole watermelon with the green rind (skin) and seeds. I just bought a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer, which leaves less pulp than the normal juicer. Would juicing the whole vegetable or fruit yield much higher nutrition? Any recommendations for juicing?

I am trying to build my health and recently started juicing veggies such as beets with carrotts and adding barley powder to it.
